This video walks you through creating a polyline dispensing program and adjusting the glue volume when the amount is too small or too large. 📋 Creating a new polyline program - Press the "L-FUN" button and go to "Browse". You will see the program file list. - Press "L-FUN" again to create a new file. Give it a name – use "ENTER" to switch between numbers, uppercase letters, and lowercase letters. - Press "L-FUN" to confirm the name, then press "ENTER" to edit the new file. 📐 Using the Polyline command - Press "2" to activate the "Polyline" command. You will see options for low, mid, and high speed. - Press "4" to add a vertex as the start point. Move the dispensing head to the end position, then add another vertex as the end point. - The machine will now move from start to end along the polyline. - Press the "R-FUN" button to exit the command. ⚙️ Batch editing parameters - After programming, select all commands (press "F3" to choose all). Then press "ENTER" to batch edit parameters for each vertex. - The moving speed controls the glue volume for a polyline command – higher speed = less glue, lower speed = more glue. - The "on-time" setting determines how long the tip stops at the start point. - The "uplift" setting determines how much the tip moves upward after finishing the polyline (e.g., set to 5mm). 💾 Saving and test running - Press "L-FUN" to exit and save the program. - Before test running with glue, close the glue (press "F1" to turn it off) and do a dry run first. - Press "RUN" to start the dry test. 🧪 Adjusting glue volume (two methods) When the glue volume is too small: Method 1 – Adjust global speed - Select all commands (press "F3") and decrease the moving speed (e.g., from 80mm/s to 60mm/s). Method 2 – Increase glue discharge speed parameter - Go to the glue discharge speed setting (shown as "4" in the video). Increase it to "8" or adjust as needed (e.g., down to "7" if slightly too much). After each adjustment, run a test with glue and observe the coverage. The goal is to have the glue flow flat across the entire surface – not too little, not too much. ⚠️ Important safety note - When using PU resin (polyurethane), wear gloves and necessary protective goggles. Many people are allergic to polyurethane resin. 🕓 Final check - Before each production run, manually discharge glue until the stream cuts off cleanly with no dripping. - If mixed resin starts to dry inside the mixing tube, discharge until flow is smooth and consistent. Watch the video for a step‑by‑step demonstration of polyline programming and glue volume fine‑tuning on the actual machine interface.
