In this video you'll learn how to calibrate the dispensing weight using only a precision scale and a waste container. No needle or mixing tube needed – the glue amount is controlled by pulse parameters, not time.
🔧 What you need
- 0.01g precision scale
- Empty waste container
📋 Steps (5–7 repetitions)
- Tare the empty container on the scale.
- Trigger a single dispense cycle.
- Weigh the dispensed glue and record the value.
- Repeat 5 to 7 times.
- Take the median value (ignore the highest and lowest).
⚙️ Adjustment
Compare the median weight with your target weight. Increase or decrease the pulse value on the machine, then repeat the 5–7 cycle test until it matches.
🕓 When to calibrate
Every 2–3 weeks, or after changing glue type or batch.
💡 Pro tip – Keep room temperature stable; viscosity changes with temperature.
