Unfortunately in the strength and conditioning world, the CrossFit and Fitness community has a tendency of measuring pre-requisite strength through numbers. For example, one must be able to perform 5 strict pull ups before performing a kipping pull up. Although setting per-requisite strength numbers to indicate a certain level of preparedness is completely valid, without an understanding of the pre-requisite movement pattern, one will have a very hard time utilizing this metric as a foundation for progression. This video, I address a very important yet complicated at times to understand topic, which is the concept of "all joints moving simultaneously". This type of understanding of movement can be complicated but once seen and understood, extremely helpful to develop any aspect of our physical performance.
