They have been told exactly how to move, to always be clean and precise. They dance as if it is clockwork to them. Suddenly, one of the dancers bursts out of their programming and starts moving differently, more freely. Once the other dancers pick up on this, they realize they are able to each become their own unique artist and dance/move in spite of the rules or “programming” that was once placed on them. Our “robot” dancers will break free from what they THINK is all they know, but when they discover new ways to move, they will be dancing in the shadows of everyone before them who told them who they had to be.
