SCM Exchange Platform

University of Alberta CMPUT 401 Project - Winter 2026 Team: Nina Han, Yashdeep Dadiala, Boshen Lin, Nasradin Mohamed, Zixu Yu, Raahim Khan, Grace Wannapongsai TA: Amir Salimi SCMExchange is a B2B procurement document exchange platform that replaces email-based communication between companies. It lets businesses securely send and receive procurement documents such as purchase orders, invoices, RFQs, and other files through a centralized web app. Key capabilities include company accounts with role-based permissions per document type, trading partner linking and automatic contact sync, transaction threads with PDF document uploads, AI-powered data extraction from uploaded documents, in-app notifications, and transaction status tracking. Built with Django, Next.js/React, PostgreSQL, and Docker, the platform was developed as a CMPUT 401 capstone project at the University of Alberta.
