Held together by equal amounts of rhythm and groove, Sivanesh Pillai’s sound goes beyond trends and genres, inviting bookings to play at renowned dance institutions and festivals across the region such as Airhouse (Seoul), Boiler Room (Singapore), The Breakfast Club (Melbourne), NOKAL (Manila), Potato Head (Bali), Savage (Hanoi), Studio9 (Taipei), S.A.S.H (Sydney), Wonderfruit (Pattaya), and more. Powered by the belief that Asia is the place to be right now for dance music, Sivanesh co-founded the bookings and events agency Sivilian Affairs with Lilian Hautemulle (Miss Lil) in 2019 to strengthen the Asian dance music scene and build a healthier ecosystem. Sivanesh is the music director for W Hotel in Singapore, and he has a monthly residency with the independent Berlin-based radio station, Refuge Worldwide.
