Solving DAEs

This is the first video in the Solving DAEs Supplement to SCoRE, a Self-Study Course on Reaction Engineering (https://buffalobadger.github.io/SCoRE/). SCoRE is based on the online book, “Reaction Engineering Basics” (https://buffalobadger.github.io/RE_Basics/). Differential-algebraic equations, or DAEs, consist of a set of coupled IVODEs and ATEs, neither of which can be solved independently. Nonetheless, the DAEs encountered in SCoRE can be solved using an ATE solver and an IVODE solver in combination.
