The gameplay of Space Walk involves players using a paddle controller to interact with astronauts on the screen. Players must bounce astronauts at various stationary and moving targets. If one player successfully catches an astronaut from the other, they can launch a ship to hit targets for points. Hitting the ship target at the top of the screen grants the most points. The game is competitive and timed, with the possibility of extending the game time by reaching a certain score.
