I posted a video of this piece earlier this week, and in the description stated that I stare at it in the morning while I drink my coffee, and lose track of time. Now I’m losing track of time because I’m having fun filming it.
“Three” is a great subject matter to shoot. I’ve always tried to accurately represent my clockwork sculptures in videos and photos, and I’ll always create at least one version that’s clean and clear. But these pieces also have a very theatrical fantasy vibe to them. So I think it’s time to start having a little fun with the videos.
In the future I’d like to create more of an environment to film my work in, but you know…money.
