Ube Loaf Bread
Filling:
1 tbsp bread flour or all-purpose flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp granulated sugar
60ml (4 tbsp) milk
2 & 1/2 tbsp ube halaya / ube jam
5g (1 tsp) butter
Dough:
200g (23 & 1/2 tbsp) bread flour or all-purpose flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 & 1/2 tbsp egg (beaten)
1 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
50ml milk (warm)
50ml water (warm)
1/4 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp dry yeast
For Brushing:
1 tsp egg yolk
1 tsp water
170℃ for 22~24 minutes (electric oven)
150℃ for 22~24 minutes (gas oven)
