Sumo Ballz
Did the project and added some features to make more of a game. I made clips to demonstrate added features and make a more timely video:
- Added scoring [no points added when player is dead and enemies continue to fall]
- Added persistent High Score. When Unity is restarted the high score is intact. Manually resettable
- Added "Get Out of Jail" enemy waves can get big, if the player is trapped for too long, and impulse is added to help give a chance to escape, and free up game play.
- Added music [credit: Board of Canada]
- Added SFX per ball type
- Added animated power up and power up icon
- Added end of power up flash as indicator time is almost up
- Added stackable power ups. If time is running out, blink stops and time is added.
- Added new life with point threshold [lowered in the demo to show layered +1 Life graphic]
- Enemy tracking resets when player is dead. Realigns to respawn.
- Restart and Quit from menu.
