UNTAPPED: An Optimization System for Performing Artists

From performance to payment, simplified. University of Alberta CMPUT 401 Project - Winter 2026 Team: Samia Rahman, Guneet Kaur, Harmanpreet Singh, Prisha Sarna, Heer Perchani, AMRITPAL SINGH, Muhammad Zain Asad TA: Hasti UNTAPPED is a web-based artist management portal built for FALAC and the ACPA Foundation, two Edmonton-based non-profits that support African and Latin ancestry communities through the arts. The platform replaces fragmented, manual workflows including emails, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools with a single centralized system where artists can register, build a public profile, submit invoices for gigs and events, upload onboarding documents, and track the real-time status of their payments. On the administrative side, FALAC and ACPA staff can manage the full artist roster, review and approve invoices, monitor payment pipelines, trigger automated email notifications, and export records for accounting software and grant reporting, all without technical expertise.
