Utkatasana Mama
This short standing practice will strenghten you hips, knees, ankles, and your heart. Utkatasana pose --sometimes translated as chair pose or lightening bolt pose- or awkward pose- is suprisingly hard to to because it requires a play of both strength and balance. It's not one of my favorites, which is precisely why we will practice it today. Things don't get easier if you ignore them! The yoga practice is personal, but also is often practiced with other people. Even though I can't see you online practicing with me, I still can feel the energy of yoga, which, at least one. translation, means connection. Please join me in a practice of utkatasana and let's dive into our legs and low back, and into practicing things that may or may not bring a challenge.
