A scapular mobility drill — back against a wall, slide the arms up and down. Similar to wall angels but typically with less strict wall contact. Restores overhead mobility and trains scapular control. ▶ HOW TO PERFORM: Stand with your back against a wall — heels a few inches from the wall, butt and shoulders touching. Bring the arms up into a goalpost position — upper arms parallel to the floor, forearms vertical, backs of hands on the wall. Slide the arms UP overhead while keeping the backs of the hands in contact with the wall (or as close as your mobility allows). Slide back down to goalpost. Repeat. ▶ KEY POINTS: • Backs of HANDS stay on the wall (or near it) • Slide SLOWLY — control the range • Back STAYS against the wall ▶ COMMON MISTAKES TO AVOID: Arching the back off the wall to fake range hides restrictions. Going too fast loses the diagnostic value of the slow slide. This is a silent form demo.
