You Forgot
This one’s a lot quieter emotionally than some of my heavier tracks, but honestly it probably cuts deeper because of that. It’s about the specific kind of heartbreak that comes from being known intimately by someone, then slowly realizing that same person stopped reaching for you the way they used to. Not in a dramatic explosive way either. More in those small absences. The little instincts disappearing. The care becoming automatic instead of intentional. That weird loneliness of being beside someone who used to understand you almost effortlessly. I wanted the writing to focus on tiny details because that’s usually where relationships actually live. Remembering fears, habits, routines, how someone spirals, the ways they need comfort without having to explain it. Losing that feels less like a breakup and more like watching a language die in slow motion. The production leans heavily into that intimacy too. Close vocals, dusty textures, vinyl hiss, soft glitches, tape instability. Everything’s meant to feel fragile and personal, like hearing a late-night confession through old speakers in a dim room somewhere. Probably one of the most vulnerable songs I’ve put together. --- © 2026 All rights reserved. This music, artwork, vocals, and audiovisual content are the original property of the artist.
