This track came from those late-night moments where everything finally shuts up and you’re left alone with your own head. No distractions, no noise, no versions of yourself built for other people. Just whatever’s left when all of that falls away. It’s about that strange space where silence stops feeling empty and starts feeling revealing. Like you’re not discovering something new, just finally hearing what’s been there under everything else the whole time. The version of you that doesn’t perform, doesn’t explain, doesn’t filter. Sonically I wanted it to feel close and a little worn out. Something intimate but not polished, like it’s playing back from memory more than a studio. Lo-fi textures, soft distortion, and those small mechanical details that make everything feel a bit alive in the background. Like the room itself is listening.
