ANOTHER TRY (Cover)

IN ANY FORM IS EVER USED IN ANY SONGS OR VIDEOS ON MY CHANNEL! Hey guys, how is everybody doing? This will be my first cover of the year 2026. Charlie and I recorded it back in 2015. It's a song written by Gerry Beckley in 1974, he's a member of the group "America" and it's off their album "Holiday". I really love this album, it's very mellow and very early 70's acoustic folk sounding. It was produced by George Martin and all of the songs on the album have that same George Martin touch that he had with the Beatles as their producer and arranger. Charlie really sang this song well and I did my own arrangement of it with staccato strings and a French Horn lead at one point. The song is about a family dealing with an alcoholic father that drinks his pay check away every week. The family is suffering but is willing the give him another try. It's a very bittersweet song and one that I liked because of it dealing with a real issue that plagues families too often! I had to edit a little Bridge out of the song because Charlie did not sing it right and was off-key a little. The song didn't need it anyway. The video I put together for it was done 2 years ago and I had fun making it. This one wasn't too difficult. It's a bit of a warning not to drink too much, especially if you have a family to support. I always try to add a little "moral to the story" in most of my songs! Well, I have all the videos ready to go for February with a couple of original Love song for Valentine's day! (Well, but of course, I do!😂). I'm the King of Love Songs!
