This song starts out with one of Jesus' hyperbolic sayings, the intensity which shocks the listener at first, but then settles into one being reminded that the Kingdom of God is a realm where "all or nothing" is the rule, and one must be entirely prepared to give their whole life... yes, everything...if they want to serve and follow Him.
