Please note, if you wish to import an entire demo site, you can do that by installing our "AyeCode Connect" plugin and selecting the "Import Demo Data" option. If you have our paid "Advanced Search Extension", it is better to install it first, doing so will allow the import to add relevant advanced search items to the search bar. CPT. Stands for Custom Post Types. If you have our events plugin or our paid Custom Post Types Manager installed, then you will be able to add dummy data individually to each one. Next, you select the type of data you wish to import. The default type is general businesses, like attractions and restaurants. You also have the option to select property for sale or classified ads. Then, select the number of listings you wish to import. You can select from 1 to 30. Next, you have the option to "Update page templates". This option will change your details and archive item templates to suit the data type. For example, with property, it will add the price and sold status to these templates. Clicking the "insert posts" button will start the import. When importing you will see a progress bar with status. The import can take a few minutes while the images are downloaded and imported to your site. Once the import is complete, you are shown the option to remove the dummy data. This action will ONLY remove the dummy posts, it will not remove any posts you have added manually and it will not remove any categories or custom fields.
