Fully Awake
From Luke 9:28-36, this is a depiction of the Transfiguration from the possible perspective of Jesus. [verse] After telling my disciples that I must soon go away I must take them to experience my anointing as we pray I reflect Your likeness and Your image, bright as lightning flash In Your Presence, our humanity is transformed, will never clash [chorus] As saints of old appear in glory, telling me Your plan How I must depart to be with You, while saving every man My disciples, they get heavy-eyed, in Your Presence prayer should make So they’ll see Your glory shine on me, when they come fully awake [verse] As the messengers depart, disciples say it’s good to be In Your Presence, in the heavenlies, with Your messengers and me And they say we should build shelters here, we can bottle what we’ve seen They do not know what they’re saying is not right in Your esteem [chorus] [verse] As we’re speaking now, Your glory cloud envelops us in love And we’re fearful as we’re entering the Presence from above Then You say of me, “This is My son I’ve chosen, hear ye him” Then we’re left alone to ponder this, we keep Your words within [chorus] If desiring to support this ministry, please either mail check or cash to: Gary Gabrielson 6620 Monitor Road, El Dorado, CA 95623 or visit my GoFundMe site below: https://gofund.me/66817128
