We Will Only Adapt

[verse] You invite Me to eat, and watch all that I do; every word that I speak, you scrutinize too Yet you don’t look to selves, who are outwardly clean - yet inside greed and wickedness are living in you You are foolish, forgetting that He made your insides; no outward behavior can hypocrisy hide Give what’s inside the dish to the hungry and poor; on everything you do, cleansing water will pour [verse] Woe to you churchmen, who tithe even herbs; those who don’t, you disdain, even acting perturbed All the while you neglect love and justice of God; You should practice both, not seeing others as flawed And woe to you churchmen, who love sitting above… the rest of My people in the church of My love Woe to you, unmarked graves, who make others unclean; the sheep don’t even know that you are loveless and mean [verse] And woe to professors who teach in My Name, who bind men with your burdens, yet won’t help just the same You’re pretending to honor men that you would have killed; if in place of your fathers, the same you’d have willed I am sending you prophets and apostles of Mine; some you’ll kill, others persecute, all of the time You have taken the key of My knowledge from men; you can’t enter My Presence, even preventing them!
