*Not Affiliated with CSEP - PATH* This video demonstrates how to perform a modified isometric leg extension protocol. This specific protocol was developed in the Kinesiology department at the University of Victoria and is taught in EPHE444. There are many variations of the procedure but all consistently assess your client's maximum isometric leg extension. Muscles involved include the vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, vastus intermedius, and the rectus femoris muscles. If you notice any mistakes or out-of-date information, please let me know in the comments so I can update the video accordingly.
