Joy

Rev. Tim Simmons First Church Charlotte House to House Bible Study Gal. 5:22 I find it interesting that God give us activities in which we can learn behaviors. There are also things that are truly divine given to us by God such as joy. Joy is a precious characteristic and God wants us to have it. When we have Jesus Christ in our lives, we are given the fruit of the Spirit which become part of our being and who we are. When we get Jesus Christ, we get better. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Ps 30 speaks of joy. Joy is a choice. God knows that we need to be refreshed at times. God has given us something that the world can take away. Remembering what the Lord has already done will bring us joy.
