Malvern is a small village in Carroll County, Ohio. Settled in 1806, it was planted as Troy in 1834 before being renamed Malvern. Incorporated in 1869. Historically a major center for the clay and brick industry. Malvern is known for Big Sandy Creek and nearby Lake Mohawk, which offers several outdoor activities. Malvern hosts the annual Great Trail Festival every year on festival grounds just outside of town in August, a popular event that everyone enjoys.
