Sometimes the best ride is the one you didn’t plan. In this video I take a leisurely spin around town on a quiet spring morning — river path, a lone daffodil, waterfalls and a slow roll past Parliament — with nothing but a thermos and a bit of time to go sideways.
This is a short diversion from my ongoing series getting ready for a longer bike trip. Because sometimes a slow loop around your own city is exactly the right preparation.
