In this video we offer a short demonstration of callbacks in 3CX. This is a powerful, yet often overlooked feature that enables callers to hangup a call but hold their position within the queue, receiving an automated callback when an agent becomes available.
There are a couple of ways to trigger a callback, either by offering the caller to press ‘2’ whilst queuing, or after a specified wait time.
Callbacks can be made directly to the number the caller is currently on, or they can choose to enter and confirm an alternate number if they wish.
This short demonstration shows you the whole process from the perspective of both the caller and agent simultaneously.
