An angel fell from heaven, they took his wings away, they cast him out. What did he do so wrong to deserve this fate? What did he do, to be rejected so quickly? He has a heart so big, a light shines from within, kindness overflows from him. Why, oh why, did such a cruel fate find him? Now among humans he must struggle, now among humans he has to live. Each day he tries so hard, each day he carries his own cross. When I look at him, sorrow fills my heart, and yet at the same time joy fills it too. My angel, good angel, what did you do, or why, that you ended up among us? Is it punishment, a test, or a world that cannot receive you?
