Bloodstone Dawn
A bloody rain fell from the sky, slick streams flooded through the streets. Buildings, roads all stained with blood, and everywhere sinister vultures sit. Crows and ravens call to me, call out my name, they summon me. Come, come, draw closer to us, let your body lie down here, we'll tear it apart. Dreams are fading, hope is gone, not even a broken flower remains. The crimson terrifies, it spreads as far as the eye can see – death everywhere. The reaper stands upon the threshold, harvesting its due, a falling tear. In this city of blood no one asks who you are. Every step in the crimson fog disappears without a trace. The vultures wait with patience, the ravens circle still. And the sky like an open wound bleeds endlessly below. All that's left is the echo of a name that a raven calls into the night. All that's left is a memory, before even that disappears. Will anyone weep when fate takes me too? Will anything remain of me, or only bloody rain? Dreams are fading, hope is gone, nothing left but wounds and scars. The crimson terrifies, the reaper reaches out its hand for me – death everywhere. It stands upon the threshold, waiting still, harvesting its due. A falling tear. ...a falling tear... ...death everywhere...
